Overview:
Occasionally, participants may be unable to access the camera during authentication and receive an error message from mindlane. This is often due to the camera not being granted access for the browser.
Problem
The browser cannot access the camera, causing mindlane to display an error message.
mindlane displays a general error message. If you don’t see a green dot at the top, the camera isn’t being used by another app and needs to be enabled for the browser.
Solution for Android
To fix the error, you need to enable the camera in Settings.
Go to Settings, scroll all the way to the bottom, and tap
Apps:
1. Search for Chrome there and tap on Chrome:
2. Tap on Permissions:
3. Tap on Camera:
4. Now select the “Allow” option:
5. Close Chrome and restart it. You will then see the permission prompt.
