Authentication for an online infection control training course (health certificate pursuant to Section 43 of the IfSG) serves to unequivocally ensure that the person completing the course is the same person in whose name the certificate is issued. This is done in compliance with the GDPR using the following method:
Photo upload/selfie procedure: Users must upload a photo of
themselves holding their ID document, which must include a photo.
Authentication process:
Registration: Sign up on the mindlane platform with personal information
Identity verification (authentication): Upload the selfie holding the ID document AND a photo of the ID
Training: Watching the instructional video (approx. 30 minutes).
Completion: Answering questions to verify knowledge
Certificate: After successful identification and verification, the certificate is issued
